The Office of Inclusion and Social Accountability has a mandate to enable LHSC to meet its fundamental commitments by optimizing individual and organizational capacity for equity, inclusion, and social accountability.

**Job Summary**:
**What the Role is**

Reporting to the Director, Office of Inclusion and Social Accountability, the Manager, Equity & Inclusion Operations is accountable for ensuring excellence in the execution of the equity and inclusion strategy at LHSC. The Manager will bring demonstrated experience in equity and inclusion program creation, implementation, and evaluation; drawing on their exceptional communications, change and project management, learning and development, and policy, and evaluation skills. The role is responsible for the development of the education, learning and leadership development framework to advance equity and inclusion. The Manager is also accountable for the development of a measurement and evaluation framework based on LHSC’s Fundamental Commitments. Through the collection and analyzing of engagement and socio-demographic data, the Manager measures progress and impact to help drive quality improvement and bring creativity and strategic thinking to identify new opportunities and approaches to advancing equity and inclusion at LHSC.

The Manager, Equity and Inclusion Operations directs, controls, and evaluates the delivery of department services. They are responsible for translating decisions of the program leadership into execution, by utilizing relationship management and working with internal and external partners to achieve the necessary outcomes. The Manager ensures their team and department operations are aligned with LHSCs mission, vision, and values, while working together to successfully achieve our strategic objectives.

This role is accountable for day-to-day department activities, including the management of human and material resources, day-to-day staffing, development and support of a healthy workplace, risk and utilization measurements, and facilitation of improvement initiatives and change management, while operating within approved operational budgets and financial guidelines and controls. A major focus of the role is fostering effective working relationships and networks within the team/unit and with other teams across the organization.

- Ability to lead and implement complex large-scale projects and change initiatives
