Frontline Traffic Services is recruiting Certified **Traffic Controllers (TCP)** **and **Temporary Workplace Signers (TWS)** to join our team in the **Halifax/Dartmouth area.**
**Requirements**:
- Have valid TCP or TWS certification
- Able to interpret both written and verbal instructions.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Great communication skills and willing to work in a team environment.
- Willing to work outside in all weather conditions, often working long days.
- Comfortable working near vehicle traffic and heavy equipment.
- Lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for long periods of time.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Assist with placing signs, barricades and traffic cones in work areas.
- Communicate with other TCP in the workplace to regulate traffic safely.
- Be responsible for the safe passage of vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists through work areas.
- Communicate any incidents or hazards to the Site Supervisor.
- Ensure a safe work environment in accordance with all policies and procedures.
- Follow instructions given by TWS or site foreman.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**We Offer**
- Competitive wages **starting** at $15.00/hour for TCP and $18/hour for TWS.
