We are looking for a passionate individual to join our team of Early Childhood Educators at Prairie Lily Early Learning Centre We are specifically looking for someone who can work with and love being a part of our Preschool group. The successful applicant will need to have patience, creativity in planning and programming activities, and approach life with a sense of fun and wonder

The successful applicant will need to be familiar with a play based learning approach, and will need to have an idea of how to use positive behavioral guidance techniques. They will need to be aware of and plan for children to be supported in reaching all developmental milestones, and will need to be comfortable working with children with a wide variety of behavioral and cognitive needs. We work hard to create a home like and supportive environment for our families and children, and the successful applicant will need be an active participant in contributing to that work. They will need to be able to communicate with other team members to ensure that the highest quality of care is provided, and to ensure that a positive team bond is maintained. We expect all ECE's with Prairie Lily to be able to independently communicate with our parents verbally, through HiMama, and through Reminds messages. We do have high expectations for our ECE's when it comes to programming and planning and offer paid time for ECE's to do this work during their scheduled shifts with the Centre.

This is a full time and permanent position, working 40 hours a week. We offer benefits, immediate access to sick time, and EDO's to our full time staff. Salary ranges based on the level of ECE that the applicant has, and experience will be taken into consideration as well. The successful applicant will need to have already obtained some level of certification with the Ministry of Education or will need to be enrolled in classes to pursue ECE certification.

COVID-19 considerations:
Prairie Lily will continue to comply with all SHA, Public Health, and 811 recommendations to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our Centres. We also follow School Board recommendations as well as some Centre specific guidelines for COVID-19.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Regina, SK S4T 2Z8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Child Care: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
