**Job Description**:

- Accountable for the overall effective maintenance coordination and performance to meet operation requirements.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment and electrical/mechanical systems.
- Direct the maintenance and repair of the company's machinery, equipment and electrical/mechanical systems.
- Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate projects on an ongoing basis.
- Responsible for good record keeping of Quality Assurance/Quality Control and work orders that track job completion, hours and material.
- Accountable to provide leadership in prompt maintenance support during construction, commissioning and operations stages of a project.
- Responsible for timely follow-up of work requisition and issue work orders for equipment problems.
- Responsible to continuously improve the quality standards of the maintenance team.
- Change compressors, belts, etc
- May be assigned and coordinate special or _ad hoc_ projects as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining gas cylinder levels and ordering gas supplies.
- Responsible for monitoring dust collectors and changing drums.
- Responsible for monitoring Acid drum levels and changing drums.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years of previous experience in a maintenance (mechanical/electrical) related profession is required (some Millwright experience is preferred)..
- Post secondary education (degree or diploma) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline is a strong asset.
- A minimum of 5 years of previous experience in a maintenance (mechanical/electrical) related profession is required.
- Must have a valid Drivers License and clean abstract, as this position may also be required to pick up and deliver to client locations.
- Ability and willingness to work rotating on-call shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime.
- Capable of operating without being under close supervision.
- Superior organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
- Proficient in using various types of computer software (Word, Excel. PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
- Ability to work well with others & independently.
- Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Works well under pressure.
- Ensures full compliance with the company’s Health & Safety, Code of Integrity, and Professional Conduct policies.
