Position description
The Department of Medicine within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is a leader in academic medicine, and our educational and research missions support excellence and innovative clinical programs across the network of teaching hospitals. The McGill University Health Centre is one of McGill’s major teaching hospitals affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Canada’s internationally renowned McGill University, located in the vibrant and multicultural city of Montreal, in the province of Quebec.

McGill DOM Career path definitions
- Our career path definitions specify typical ranges of time allotted to clinical work, teaching (clinical and didactic), as well as research and administration. Such definitions may include the following:
a) Sleep Medicine - Clinician-Scientist
b) Sleep Medicine - Clinician-Teacher
The earliest start date will be July 2023; however, the start date can be deferred (if appropriate) to accommodate sub-specialty examinations, advanced clinical instruction, and/or research training.

Qualifications and Education Requirements- Assets:
- Additional training in medical education or quality improvement will be considered an asset for the Clinician-Teacher position.
