**Summary**:
**Detailed Description**:
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Utilizes our NPI planning process to support setup of new customer, release of new Bills of material, analyze bom changes, put together quotation requests for procurement to execute, manage alternate PN's and deviations due to design changes, work closely with procurement to manage material infeed to support very assertive build schedules on short time lines. Manage premiums with customer approval and track any design changes to ensure recoveries are in place.
- This will lead to preparing the account for launch into a production environment. Utilizing PFEP (Plan for Every Part) setup, cell design in collaboration with Eng and operations. Transition the planning of a production schedule for a designated product(s) as it moves into that phase.
- Review customer forecast and demand changes.
- Loading and managing parameters and production order release and maintenance for deisgnated products.
- Ensures alignment of customer purchase orders with production scheduling.
- Coordinates shop order releases and materials kitting requirements and review with Eng ensuring proper setup and alignment.
- Identifies parts shortages and works with appropriate people to expedite material and/or approve material substitution.
- Tracks shipments according to commit date to customer and notifies SCM Manager and Business Development of any changes.
- Provides Return Material Authorization (RMA) approvals.
- Manages receipts of consigned raw materials.
**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies**:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines.
- Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
- Basic knowledge of production planning fundamentals, scheduling, materials requirements planning techniques and manufacturing control systems
- Basic knowledge of purchasing principles, techniques and philosophies.
- Basic understanding of specific customer needs.
- Basic math, data entry and 10-key skills.
**Physical Demands**:
- Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
- Duties may also include working closely with Receiving, Quality team, and MR and movement of materials during urgent timelines. Must follow Celestica guidelines with regards to lifting requirements and safety equipment.
- Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

- College Diploma with focus on Supply Chain Management or a Bachelor's degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
