**Position Details**:
Rockwood Service Corporation is actively seeking a QHSE Coordinator to support with the quality and safety programs of its subsidiary companies. The QHSE Coordinator will be under the supervision of the QHSE Director and HSE Manager and will be based out of the Red Deer office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the implementation of control and monitoring measures related to safety and/or quality performance.
- Participate in the delivery of regional safety or quality training initiatives.
- Aid in internal and external audit process and maintenance of COR certifications.
- Responsible for the maintenance of contractor and supplier management solutions sites such as ISNetworld, Avetta, Complyworks, Ariba, etc.
- Organize and facilitate safety segments for new hire orientations.
- Identify relevant safety courses, coordinating schedules, and follow up with technicians for certifications.
- Schedule and coordinate necessary drug & alcohol testing.
- Maintain updated records via reporting systems for safety and quality training, near-miss reports, and other related policies and procedures.
- Update, track, and audit safety certifications and required NDT/Visual certifications.
- Ensure the Safety and Quality Managers have information required to produce reliable quality and/or safety metrics.
- Create QHSE communication and presentations for various audiences (clients, employees, internal stakeholders, etc.)
- Review, revise, and solicit input to the Safety and/or Quality Management System as required.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High proficiency with MS Office computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid class 5 Driver's license and drivers abstract are required.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and planning skills.
- Ability to work with limited supervision and have an appreciation of deadlines.
- Exceptional ability to listen, inquire, and make informed decisions.
- A commitment to enforce understanding and compliance with responsibilities under the provincial Occupational Health and Safety Acts and Regulations, and Rockwood Safety and Quality Management Systems, policies, and procedures.
