Calgary, Canada 3D Development Ltd Full time

3D Development Ltd is looking for a Plasterer who can start immediately.

Our offices are located in Calgary, Alberta T3N 1L3. Work at various locations.

Wages: $26.25 per hour for 35 hours per week.

Benefits: as per Alberta standards

Terms of Employment: Full time permanent position

Applicants with part time availability to cover full time shift are encouraged to apply

Job requirements: Language: English

Education: secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Specific Skills:

- Prepare tenders and quotations,
- Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster,
- Clean and prepare surfaces, Cure freshly plastered surfaces,
- Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners,
- Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife,
- Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required,
- Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets,
- Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency,
- Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim,
- Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry,
- Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound,
- Install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be applied,
- Install exterior and interior steel studs,
- Prepare wall and ceiling layouts,
- Estimate costs and materials,
- Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages,
- Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms
