**Alexandria** is situated in between Ottawa and Montreal and 35 minutes from the Canada/US border.

**SCOPE OF POSITION**:
A pricing Coordinator is responsible for determining the appropriate pricing for company products based on a variety of factors. Their duties include conducting market research to learn more about competitor pricing for similar items, reviewing previous sales data and company revenue needs, and deciding a market price for a range of products based on their findings. They work with the sales, marketing, finance, and product engineering teams to figure out how to price company products effectively and develop ideas for seasonal sales opportunities. They are responsible for establishing and maintaining sales prices within the company ERP system along with preparing timely accurate quotes for pricing large custom jobs. This key position reports to the Pricing Manager..

**Job Duties and Essential Functions**:
Responsible to work in in centralized planning structure with multiple manufacturing and distributions centers. Considerable independent judgment and decision making in carrying out assignments is expected. Including, but not limited to:

- Assessing data from a variety of sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends.
- Analyzing competitor pricing and market trends to increase market share and profitability.
- Tracking customer engagement to develop effective pricing strategies for products and offerings.
- Recommending pricing strategies that align closely with market trends and identifying new market segments.
- Forecasting revenue and market share based on market trends, production costs, profit margins, and sales volumes.
- Collaborating with sales and marketing departments on developing and implementing competitive pricing strategies.
- Developing dynamic pricing tools to effectively respond to changing market needs and trends.
- Preparing and presenting pricing analysis findings to executives, marketing teams and sales staff.
- Keeping informed on pricing analysis methods and industry trends.

**Work Environment**:

- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

**Required Cognitive and Psychological Characteristics**:

- Extensive experience in analyzing pricing strategies and forecasting revenue and market share.

- In-depth knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis would be a strong asset.
- Ability to keep abreast of industry trends and develop dynamic pricing tools.

**Required Credentials**:

- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics or in a related field would be considered a strong asset.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a pricing analyst in manufacturing and distribution centre environments would be considered a strong asset.
- Knowledge of AX Microsoft will be considered a strong asset.
- Experience in collaborating on pricing strategies with sales and marketing departments.
- Advanced ability to present pricing analysis report to relevant stakeholders would be a strong asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Bilingualism in both French and English a strong asset.
