Wedm Operator

Job description

**Responsibilities**:

- Manufacture tooling and prototype components as directed by blueprint or instructions using WIRE MACHINE
- Verify that tooling and prototype components are to blueprint specifications
- Takes all required safety precautions when working
- Program, Set up and operate Wire EDM machines.
- Knowledge of CNC mills and other toolroom equipment such as grinders would be an asset

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years’ of relevant experience operating Wire EDM MACHINE
- Must have knowledge with the operation of Sodick Wire Machines
- Mastercam experience an asset
- Must be able to do own set-ups and read blueprints
- Must be able to work independently and as a team player
- Must have excellent command of the English language both oral and written
- Willing to work afternoon shift

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- WEDM machine operator: 2 years (preferred)

Work Location: One location
