**Cook**

**Responsibilities**
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
- Cook food in various utensils or grillers
- Check food while cooking to stir or turn
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Check quality of ingredients
- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Proven experience as cook, cook-in director, restaurant cook, or other similar position
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Knowledge of various cuisines and recipe preparation methods
- Working knowledge of kitchen sanitation procedures including washing dishes and using kitchen appliances proper for washing dishes.
- Ability to work long hours if needed, with little sleep the last two months of work season (approximately 60-70 hours)

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week
