Panel Builder

Waltec Electrical Services is seeking a skilled, independent and enthusiastic Control Panel Builder to join our automation team to build high quality custom control panels. We Are Looking to expand our control panel building department with skilled individuals with the option of an electrical 309A apprenticeship.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Work along side and communicate with senior automation members for work instructions
- Assembly and wiring of electrical control panels including laying out back plates, drilling, panel cut outs, mounting and labelling devices.
- Strip and Terminate wires in control panels in a repetitive and high quality manner.
- Fill out and complete panel build completion check sheets and indicate any missing components
- General worksite duties
- Responsible for keeping the work area clean
- Receive and unload material delivered to shop
- Assist with loading completed control panels to be shipped to site
- Ability to independently lift 25 - 35 lbs
- Keep accurate records of time spent on panel builds

Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow and read control panel schematics (Preferred 2-3 years experience)
- Mechanical abilities and experience using basic equipment such as drills, grinders, jig saws, hack saw, etc.
- Ability to read a tape measure
- 2-3 Years Panel Building Experience or similar role is Preferred
- Class G Drivers License and Vehicle
- Proficient in both spoken and written English
- Must have own Hand tools (Screw drivers, strippers, Side Cutters Pliers, Etc.). Drill and consumables (drill bits, saw blades, taps, etc.) will be provided

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
