Job Summary:
Are you a skilled Rough Carpenter seeking an exciting opportunity?

C D CONSTRUCTION INC is seeking a Carpenter to join their team to build residential buildings across the Greater Vancouver area.

**Position Available**: 1 Concrete Forming Carpenter

**Location**: Various Greater Vancouver, BC

**Salary**: $30.00 to $39.00 per hour (40 hours a week, overtime available)

**Education**: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate / Trade diploma or equivalent experience

**Experience**: 3 to 5 years

**Job Requirements**:

- Proficiency in English
- Carpenter Trade Certification is desirable
- Ability to supervise 1-2 people and instruct apprentices.
- Experience in concrete form work, particularly construction of new buildings
- Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and sketches
- Strong understanding of building codes and specifications
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle

**Specific Skills**:

- Prepare layouts according to building codes
- Erect trusses and form footings/foundations
- Utilize easy strip and snap tie forming systems.
- Build and repair wooden frames for concrete products
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

**Work Setting**: Construction of homes

**Work Conditions**: Fast-paced, outdoors, noisy, physically demanding.

**Personal Suitability**: Effective interpersonal skills, Punctual, team player, dependable, client focused & organized.

**How to Apply**:

Pay: $30.00-$39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
