Junior QA Analyst

Overview

You will be responsible for:

- Developing and implementing test specifications, test plans and use cases
- Automating tests using tools such as Cypress
- Involved in all aspects of testing from test design to test execution
- Disciplined reporting, tracking, and resolution of all defects.
- Re-testing defect fixes and regression testing

**Education**:

- ISTQB (or equivalent) Foundation Level certification is desirable but not essential

**Experience**:

- A minimum of 1 year manual software testing experience
- Degree in a computer science is essential
- Experience in test case development and execution is essential
- Clear understanding of software development lifecycle
- Some SQL experience would be an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Competencies:

- Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI
- Test Automation experience an advantage (Cypress)
- Good problem solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Proactive, willingness to take the initiative and assume responsibility where necessary
