**McMan is looking for a Part-Time Youth Worker
- Evening Weekend Shift for the Personalized Community Care Program in Lethbridge.**

This is a **part-time position (24 hours a week), on the following rotation**:

- Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm
- Saturday 3:00pm - 11:00pm
- Sunday 3:00pm - 11:00pm

**Here is how you will contribute as a Youth Worker**:

- Establish helping relationships with youth and their support networks.
- Support the team environment.
- Create positive interactions to enhance adaptive functioning, social skills, recreational opportunities, self-regulation skills, life-skills, and connection to the community for youth with significant disabilities.
- Demonstrate knowledge of a wide range of intervention resources and methods.
- Provide youth with guidance to assist them in addressing problem situations and/or behaviours.

**Here’s what you need to get an interview**:

- Early Childhood Education, Disability Studies, Child and Youth Care Diploma or a Degree in human services.
- Six months’ experience in family and youth work; two years’ experience preferred.
- Six months’ experience in early childhood education and disability services; two years’ experience preferred.
- Strong counselling, program planning, organizational and communication skills.
- Standard First Aid CPR Level C Certificate
- Clear Child Intervention Record Check and Police Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector dated within the past six (6) months.
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License, Driver’s Abstract and use of reliable vehicle with $2M Third Party liability insurance to carry passengers.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: $22.76-$26.63 per hour
