Spectrum Learning Centre is passionate in providing high caliber ABA, OT, & Speech therapy to children in Durham Region. As this is a brand new centre, there is currently no physical location, but will be open mid-2024

To begin, we will be offering "in-home" services, and will continue once the physical location is complete. This is a unique opportunity to show your knowledge and capabilities, as well as expand on those attributes. We are looking for new and fresh play based learning.

- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs
- Provide therapy and intervention to improve patients' speech and language skills
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and educators, to develop comprehensive care plans
- Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication and swallowing abilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

This position requires a high level of patient care, case management, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. The Speech Language Pathologist will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in patients. They will work closely with patients and their families to develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific needs. The ability to effectively communicate with patients, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and maintain accurate patient records is essential for success in this role. A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology certification is required. Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.

**Salary**: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
