**Job Description**:
Under the supervision and in collaboration with the course coordinator, the TA will help teach, motivate, and engage nurses pursuing their online bachelor’s degree on the topics of the history of nursing, the philosophical and theoretical tenets of Strengths-Based Nursing (SBN), and the pivotal contributions of nursing in the health care system. The TA will be expected to: (1) embrace learner-centered approaches to teaching; (2) mobilize students and resources to offer exciting approaches to learning SBN; (3) facilitate discussions to link the course concepts to nursing practice, health promotion, research, and ethics; and (4) be open to and well versed in SBN. The TA will participate in online teaching/facilitation and the evaluation of students in the course.

**Salary**: $33.03/hour

Qualifications:
Current Masters or Doctoral student at McGill.

Graduate teaching experience is preferred and an asset.
