Dispatcher

Cardi Construction is currently looking for a dispatcher to join our close
- knit dispatch team. Within this fast paced role you will be responsible for:

- create orders called in by customers and communicate to estimators and operations staff
- initiate, track and file Ontario One Call locates and coordinate on site meets
- schedule operators and equipment, pups, live bottoms and triaxles as required by customers, quarries and in house jobs
- distribute job assignments to all operations staff on a daily basis
- attach maps, locates and/or BOL’s to orders to expedite morning job assignments
- book appointments for service/utility inspections IE : inside / outside sewers etc
- liaison between customers and estimators/field staff/management
- schedule, ship and process payment for all slinger and triaxle deliveries for internal and external customers
- sale of aggregates and salt to inbound customers including processing of credit card payments
- review, code and file incoming personnel timesheets on a daily basis and forward to payroll biweekly
- code all quarry and job tickets
- maintain spreadsheet for quarry times and amounts to track and estimate future bidding quotations
- maintain and compile job tickets for accounts receivable and maintain timely billing process
- code and review snow removal timesheets - create summary and tickets and submit for billing
- file accounts payable invoicing for all equipment and vehicles
- file vehicle inspection reports daily and maintain mileage & machine hours spreadsheet and ensure completion for year end
- distribution of internal and external purchase orders
- calculation of concrete measurements and placement of orders (back up as required)
- reporting of incidents and breakdowns to mechanics and supervisors
- maintain clean, organized and stocked dispatch office and files
- verification of invoicing versus ticketing
- Work in compliance with Cardi Construction OHS policies
- Other duties which may be assigned by Operations Manager on a project-to-project basis

Qualifications:

- Dispatching experience of 2 years would be an asset
- Computer skills in Excel and Word
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must demonstrate strong coordination skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
