**Key Responsibilities**:
As the Information Security Specialist, you will work closely with the Chief Security Officer to maintain and improve SHOEBOX’s ISO 27001 certified Information Security Management System. Your primary responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to, the following:

- Customer security questionnaires
- Security posture maintenance - coordinating access reviews, backups,
- CAPA & Continuous improvement initiatives
- Support Information Security needs in software development process
- Incident Management
- Risk Management
- Business continuity & disaster recovery planning and rehearsals
- Support software tool lifecycle
- Provide security awareness training to employees
- Other duties as assigned to support the needs of the business

**Education, Certifications & Experience**:

- 3-5 years experience in Information Security roles
- Experience with security and privacy standards such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity framework, SOC1/2, HIPAA/PIPEDA/GDPR, etc.
- Proven track record in successful implementation of policy and systems
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple activities and objectives
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining trusted advisor relationships
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Bilingual in English & French seen as an asset

Utilizing iOS and web technology to replace bulky, expensive equipment, we’re bringing hearing testing into the 21st century and making it more affordable and accessible than ever before.

**Why that’s important**: 5% of the world’s population suffers from disabling hearing loss, 60% of childhood hearing loss is due to preventable causes, and the majority of people with disabling hearing loss live in low-middle income countries. We can help. With our products, hearing testing can be conducted outside of a sound booth and without the need for clunky equipment (you just need a calibrated headset and an iPad), which allows for testing almost anywhere, anytime, worldwide.
