Birth Doula

Halton, Canada The WOMB Full time

**The purpose of THE WOMB Doula Team** is to provide childbirth education, continuous birth doula support, postnatal doula care, and breastfeeding / infant feeding support to women and their families in pregnancy, childbirth and during the early postnatal period. The WOMB Doula Group was formed so that its doulas could support one another - providing back up, off-call privileges, guidance to one another, cost sharing and the possibility of serving a greater number of families requiring support.

**Mission Statement**: The WOMB Doulas are a team of doulas and childbirth educators committed to providing expectant and new parents with exceptional emotional, physical, and educational nurturing, love and service.

While under the care of a Midwife, Family Physician and/or Obstetrician, we provide support both in the home and/or in hospital, giving families the best care possible.
- **It is our goal to increase confidence and decrease fears with respect for our clients, and their birth and parenting choices - allowing for a more positive, peaceful birth and postnatal experience.**_
