**Description**

Our Client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to be responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of the testing and project status reporting through the implementation of a new payroll system. This includes efforts in the core payroll module as well as related time and attendance and work scheduling modules of the SAP Cloud ERP solution.

This role is preferred hybrid but open to full remote. Under no circumstances are contractors allowed to work / work remotely outside the borders of Canada at any time. Must be Canadian Resident to apply.

**Experience Required/Mandatory Skills**
- Certificate or Degree in related field
- Experience and/or accreditation related to Payroll management and processing for large, unionized environment
- Strong understanding or accreditation in Project Management
- 10+ years of related experience
- Excellent understanding of Canadian Payroll Processing Methodology
- Ability to interpret business requirements / issues and provide go-forward recommendations
- Deep understanding of HR business functions and processes as they relate to payroll
- Experience with payroll system configuration
- Experience with and knowledge of key integration points between SAP SuccessFactors modules an asset
- Experience in building and delivering payroll process/service delivery design
- Proven problem solving, analytical, and root cause identification skills, able to use data to present challenges and solutions and opportunities to leadership
- Project management knowledge
- Proficiency with Google Suite
- The ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work in ambiguous situations
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate multiple groups, projects, and situations
- Demonstrated ability to critically analyze issues to make decisions, recommend viable and effective solutions and summarize and manage information

**Nice To Have Skills**
- Strong understanding of SAP payroll an asset
- IT system integration experience an asset

**Work Environment**
- 6 months with possibility of extension

**Hourly Rate**
