**PAWS for Life Foundation is looking for an experienced groomer to join our team**

**The Opportunity**

PAWS for Life has a full grooming studio complete with a dog wash station that can be used by the groomer for 3-4 days per week. The rental charge is $100 per day, or $1200 monthly for three days use per week. The rent payment will increase to $1600 per month for four days rental per week. The schedule is negotiable, and can include weekends or evenings dependent on the groomer’s preferences.

The groomer will be responsible for booking all clients and appointments. The groomer will keep their own profits from these appointments. The space will be shared with another dog groomer who will conduct business on opposite shifts within the agreed upon schedule.

**About the Organization**

PAWS for Life is a CRA registered charity (851763060RR0001) that is dedicated to improving the lives of abandoned, abused and neglected dogs through force-free training, rehabilitation, and finding our rescues safe, loving homes. PAWS is a registered non-profit charity in Edmonton and an Alberta Force Free Alliance member. We also operate a shelter for dogs waiting for placement in foster homes, or who need to be kept in a shelter environment for medical or behavioral needs. In addition to this, we have a section of our facility that operates as a doggy daycare to the public, which runs as a social enterprise to fund some of our operations.

The groomer will benefit by making connections with our adoptive families and daycare clients.
