Custodian/janitor

**Job Overview**

We are seeking a part time Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our facilities and ensuring a safe and inviting space for all occupants.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following items**:

- Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request refills as needed.
- Monitor building equipment.
- Perform minor repairs and report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain lawn and parking lot.
- Remove snow and ice from sidewalks.
- Assist set-up and take-down for rental and church meetings & functions.
- Perform custodial duties for funerals and memorial services.
- Perform custodial duties for weddings.

**Qualifications**
- Experience in commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Ability to clean and maintain various types of facilities.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
