**The opportunity**:
Wellington-Altus is currently recruiting for a Manager, Accounting & Financial Reporting. Reporting to the Controller, the Manager, Accounting & Financial Reporting will support the Financial Controller in managing all financial operations and assists in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis for all entities in the group.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Supporting the Financial Controller in managing all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis.
- Assisting with the monthly close process and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Building out robust financial reporting packages for senior leadership.
- Participating in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Performing general ledger reconciliation and analysis.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting standards and ensure compliance.
- Providing support in the preparation of audit schedules and respond to audit inquiries.
- Assisting with special projects as needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Successful completion of CPA designation.
- At least 3 years of public practice accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Excel.
