Dawson Road Maintenance operates a diverse fleet of specialized equipment using the latest in technology, including GPS-tracking backed by real-time weather forecasts. From winter snow to avalanches, mud slides or washouts, we work hard to make sure our highways are open and safe for the travelling public.

**WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE**
- Prioritize safety of yourself and your team in all aspects of the job
- Operate tools and machines to spread, smooth, and level cracks and joints in asphalt on road beds
- Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair equipment
- Conduct pre-shift inspections and report any concerns or malfunctions to supervisors
- Learn and follow safety regulations
- Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects
- Perform all necessary work while complying with all company policies and procedures

**WHAT YOU BRING**
- Minimum two (2) years previous crack sealing or paving experience
- Flagging experience is an asset
- Certifications and applicable tickets are an asset
- Valid Driver’s License
- Be available for on call work
