**The Requirements**
- 2-5 years previous experience driving.
- Minimum Class 5 license
- Able to work independently, sit for long periods of time, and
- Able to operate and maneuver a large vehicle
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Previous forklift certification experience considered an asset.
- Ability to use GPS or other navigational tools.

**The Opportunity**

The Driver is responsible for all local deliveries and pick ups in the lower mainland and Fraser Valley regions. They will load and unload vehicles of materials and items to be delivered and those that need to be brought back. In addition, they will maintain the vehicle(s) to a quality standard and preform all duties required for delivery and maintenance purposes. Reporting to the IQC Manager, they will preform deliveries as scheduled, or as required by the company.

Hours of Work: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

**Responsibilities**
- Driver (85%)_
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items to businesses in a safe, timely manner.
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries and or driving records.
- Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
- Maintenance (15%) _
- Taking vehicles in for regularly scheduled maintenance (oil changes, etc.)
- Report any damages, accidents, or issues with the vehicle to Manager for repairs.
- Periodically washing interior and exterior of vehicle on an as needed basis.
- Fill all vehicles with fuel at end of week or as needed.
