**Job description**

Access Healthcare Services Inc**.** is currently looking for full time and part time Personal Support Workers (PSW) to service clients for morning and evening shifts, in the Ottawa East Area.

Area: Ottawa East (Rockland and Surrounding Areas)

**What we are offering**:

- **$500 sign-on bonus**:

- **Additional $0.50/hour evening premium**:

- Salary: $24.00-$26.25 per hour

**What you will do**:

- Assist clients with bathing (partial, complete, tub, or shower)
- Assist clients with oral hygiene, hair care, dressing, and all activities of daily living
- Assist clients with ambulation, transferring, and positioning in bed or chair
- Assist with physio exercises, ROM, etc. as per therapist’s care plan
- Assist clients with feeding and light meal preparation
- Perform light housekeeping duties as per service plan
- Make/change clients bedding as required
- Assist clients with toileting or incontinence care
- Assist and/or remind client to take medication (Do not administer medication)
- Report any changes in health condition, or safety risks to immediate supervisor
- Perform delegated tasks, specific to each client; delegated by nurse or immediate supervisor

**What you need**:

- PSW or DSW Certificate or a successful first year nursing completion
- Proof of Covid Vaccination
- Vehicle required with Valid Driver’s License
- Step 2 TB Test (Completed within the last 2 years)
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check (less than 6 months old)
- Must be available to work every second weekend
- Must be available for 20 hours per week minimum
- Must be available to work evening shifts within 4:00pm - 10:00pm or Morning Shift Between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm.
