Altum Health is currently recruiting an energetic and well-organized** OPERATIONAL CLINICAL PRACTICE LEADER** to support our KDT MSK Clinic and treatment teams with expertise in Treatment Streams, particularly WSIB streams. The Clinical Practice Leader performs activities to facilitate the effective functioning of various programs in Altum Health at University Health Network. The Clinical Practice Leader works with and supports program staff, the management team, administrative coordinators, and other Practice Leaders.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assists with clinical resource management for approved time-off, vacation and other requests for staff and ensures adequate staff coverage to meet workload needs
- Monitor, analyze, assess and implement change initiatives related to defined KPI’s
- Monitoring access to Assessment and Treatment services and problem-solve to create additional access/capacity when needed, including liaising with other Sites as appropriate/needed
- Problem solving with clinical team regarding client care
- Identifies opportunities and implements change initiatives for operational process improvement in conjunction with the Manager
- Support implementation of performance improvement plans in conjunction with Manager
- Yearly clinical competency evaluation of all clinicians at Site
- Assist in recruitment activities at the discretion of the Manager
- Demonstrate understanding of volume targets as it relates to budget and adjust strategy in order to compensate for varying referral or treatment volumes
- Conducting regular 1:1 meetings with clinical team members as well as running rounds, participating in site meetings, etc.
- Clinical triage of incoming referrals as needed
- Covering for Manager as required

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A regulated health care professional with academic qualifications from a recognized university
- Registered with the appropriate regulatory College of Ontario
- Three (3) years’ experience required in the provision of acute rehabilitation services
- Three (3) years leadership experience preferred
- Supervisory and teaching experience is required
- Experience working with WSIB Specialty Programs
- Knowledge of all Altum Health product lines
- Ability to influence, mentor & motivate others
- Ability to multi-task, and work a fast-paced and changing environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to develop, implement and monitor a quality management programs
- Compliance with legislation outlined in Regulated Health Professions Act (1991)
- Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
