**Sistering** is a multi-service agency for at-risk, socially isolated women and trans people in Toronto who are homeless or precariously housed. Our harm reduction philosophy is a core element of all the work we do. We operate on a trauma-informed and relationship-based model.

Our programs include a low-barrier 24/7 Drop In, Housing and Case Support, Harm Reduction, Peer Outreach, on-site Medical Clinic, On the Path to Employment and Spun Studio social enterprise. During COVID our 24/7 Drop In runs as one of the City Respite Centres, providing essential services.

**Do you want to make a difference in our community?**

We are seeking a Grant Writer to lead our efforts in securing funding.

The Grant Writer will work with our senior leadership team to understand our financial needs, research grant opportunities and write compelling grant proposals.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Research ongoing and upcoming grant opportunities
- Draft grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of the organization
- Provide prospective funders with supporting documents
- Assist with report writing to comply with grant requirements

**What you bring**:

- Bachelor’s degree in creative writing or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in grant writing
- Proficient with measuring and reaching income goals
- Excellent knowledge of fundraising information sources
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
