**About DSUSO**: DSUSO is an office dedicated to promoting sustainability within the Dalhousie Student Union and K’jipuktuk. DSUSO supports sustainability initiatives on campus and community groups working on environmental and social justice awareness, education, & infrastructure.

The food systems around us play a large role in either diminishing or upholding sustainability; this includes the social inequity of food access and security, along with the ecological impacts of our food production methods. - Create programming & campaigns to increase awareness of current DSU food services/ systems, & will discuss individual & community food access, sustainability, & sovereignty.
- Work with community & campus groups focusing on addressing food insecurity & access.
- Work with the DSUSO manager to coordinator ‘Breakfast Club’ programming that emphasizes food sovereignty.
- Review standing contracts and practices involving food management & food access on campus.
- Work to strengthen DSUSO relationships with existing groups and collectives on & off campus.
- Applicants are encouraged to develop their own ideas on food-related issues or projects._
