**Job Description**:
**Position Summary**

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the movement of finished products to customers. Your role will involve coordinating various aspects of logistics operations, including inventory management, transportation, and order fulfillment. As a detail-oriented and organized professional, you will ensure seamless logistics processes, meeting customer demands and enhancing overall efficiency in our supply chain.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Managing the coordination of inbound freight flow while prioritizing daily tasks and weekly operational goals.
- Utilizing lane data, on-time performance, and cost analysis to skillfully negotiate rates with customers and third-party carriers, ensuring both profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Taking charge of logistics operations, including securing shipment rates, negotiating with logistics service providers, and choosing 3PL partners.
- Prepare and maintain shipping documents, customs paperwork, and other logistics-related paperwork to ensure compliance with regulations and smooth operations.
- Review new Purchase Orders (POs) entered by Procurement in Logistics Tracker for all tabs (Ocean/Air/Parcel/Land).
- Monitoring and expediting shipments, effectively addressing issues related to quality, quantity, and schedule discrepancies.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the logistics function, suggesting strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Confirm container loading with freight forwarders, follow up with buyer and shipper if necessary.
- Ensure adherence to transportation regulations and trade compliance requirements, both domestically and internationally.
- Work closely with other departments such as procurement, production, and customer service to align logistics activities with overall business goals.

**Qualifications**:
**Education and/or Experience***
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Logistics certification is a definite asset.
- 3-5 years experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination is highly desired.
- 3+ years ocean freight experience, air and land knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles, transportation methods, and logistics best practices.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and logistics software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in logistics operations.
