**Job Overview**
The Infants and Toddlers Certificate program is designed for individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and care. This program provides the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to support the growth and development of infants and toddlers in various settings, including daycare centers, preschools, and family childcare environments. Participants will learn about child development theories, effective caregiving practices, and how to create a nurturing environment that promotes learning and well-being for young children.

**Duties**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in infants and toddlers.
- Observe and assess children's developmental milestones to tailor activities to their individual needs.
- Create a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other educators or caregivers to ensure a cohesive approach to child development.
- Maintain accurate records of children's activities, behaviors, and developmental progress.
- Stay informed about current best practices in early childhood education through ongoing professional development.

- Strong understanding of child development principles specific to infants and toddlers.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude towards young children.

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to childcare settings.
- Flexibility to adapt activities based on children's needs or unexpected changes in the environment.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per year
