Job Description

The Software Developer is responsible for having a strong aptitude for understanding sophisticated business problems and translating their technical knowledge into practical, implementable solutions that will drive high impact business value.

What You will do
- Work with stakeholders, technology, and agile project managers to define business requirements for every scrum / project and map out end-to-end solutions.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Analysts and Architecture teams to design and implement scalable and reliable Machine Learning infrastructure.
- Optimize ML workflows for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency on AWS cloud platform.
- Implement monitoring and logging systems to track the performance and health of ML models and infrastructure.
- Implement, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, including performance bottlenecks and data inconsistencies.
- Ensures that functional specifications can be implemented technically while developing and innovating creative solutions.
- Work closely with peers and business partners to deliver high quality projects and innovative solutions that advance Fidelity’s position within the Mutual Fund Industry.

What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Economics or Mathematics.
- 2+ years of related experience
- Strong understanding of Machine Learning and LLM concepts, algorithms, and modern frameworks.
- Exceptional coding ability in Python programming language.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and their ML services (e.g., AWS SageMaker).
- Good to have - Ability to write SQL on Cloud based data warehouses, such as Snowflake and Redshift
- Effective communication skills with ability to prepare project documentation & presentations
