**Job Title: Experienced Supervisor - Retired Professional (20+ Years of Experience)**

**Location**:Halifax, Nova Scotia (Canada)

**Job Type**: Full-Time / Contract

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise daily construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Provide leadership and direction to the construction crew, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and safely.
- Train and mentor crew members, offering guidance and support to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols and regulations on the job site.
- Review construction plans and blueprints to ensure accurate and efficient execution of work.
- Maintain clear communication with management and other stakeholders, reporting on progress, challenges, and any potential risks.
- Provide expertise in building construction and offer solutions to complex issues onsite.
- Assist in problem-solving and resolving any disputes or issues that arise during construction.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, building codes, and regulations.

**Qualifications**:
Minimum of 20 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on building construction and project supervision.
- Retired professional seeking part-time or flexible work arrangements.
- Strong general knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and building codes.
- Proven experience in training, mentoring, and supervising teams.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to enforce safety regulations on-site.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working with both residential and commercial construction projects.
- Certification in construction safety or any other relevant certifications.
