SaintLambert, Canada Champlain Regional College Full time

The Continuing Education department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of a PART-TIME INSTRUCTOR FOR THE FALL 2024 semester to teach the course of FIELDWORK I (351-125-LA).

Students will complete 14 days of internship in a pertinent workplace. The hired instructor will be responsible for stage placement and stage supervision (2 visits). The hired instructor is also responsible for 21 scheduled in-class hours (7 classes of 3 hours) to help students prepare for the fieldwork, as well as provide support and follow-up during the internship. The final presentations at the end of the fieldwork are included in these hours. All students must be placed in a fieldwork by October 18, 2024.The hired instructor will be asked to provide a bi-weekly job activity log.

**Required Qualifications**:
Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline and 2 years teaching experience. Teaching experience in special care counselling or a related program and pertinent fieldwork experience (supervision) in a relevant environment are required.This program is taught in English; proficiency in English is required. The stage environment could be English or French; therefore bilinguilism is also an asset.

**Comments**:
The 2 site visits (supervision) and all classes are given in-person.
