0.93 FTE Continuing - LART, Library, ELL, Prep Coverage

**Commencing**: SEPTEMBER 1, 2023

primary and intermediate teaching experience;
ability and energy to work with multi-age groups and meet the needs of students with a range of learning styles and abilities using a variety of teaching strategies;
a degree or diploma in Special Education with coursework in diagnosis and remediation of reading and math difficulties, behavior intervention, and Level B testing;
strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills to communicate with students, staff, and parents in a team oriented approach to teaching and learning;
experience developing and implementing student individual education plans and providing programming for students with low incidence designations;
strong formative assessment practices;
ability to integrate technology to enhance student learning;
experience with RTI (Response to Intervention) systems;
post secondary academic courses in ELL and Librarianship; and

ability to embed local Indigenous culture and ways of knowing into teaching practices.
