Reproductive Centre Veterinarian

Job Summary:
Role Overview

The veterinarian will perform ovum pickup procedures, in vivo embryo collections, embryo transfers, electroejaculation collections and live mount bull collections. The veterinarian will work alongside team members to perform all duties associated with the production of frozen genetics.

Lab Technician Responsibilities:

- Ultrasound guided ovum pickup
- In vivo embryo collections on farm and on site
- Embryo transfers on farm and on site
- Assist clients with recipient synchronization protocols
- Establish and maintain client relationships.
- Live mount bull collections
- Electroejaculations for bull collections
- Produce and maintain embryo production records
- Oversee embryo and semen export procedures
- Record Keeping and data entry
- Assist in quality control and lab cleanliness

Education and Qualifications/ Skills Requirements:

- DVM degree
- Very strong attention to detail
- Veterinary license in Saskatchewan
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Effective communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $70,004.65-$135,024.32 per year

**Experience**:

- Large animal veterinary: 1 year (preferred)
