**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Marnoch Facilities Maintenance is a commercial multi-trade contractor and has been in business for over 30 years. We currently have an opening for a full-time registered Electrical Apprentice. We are seeking a motivated, professional self-starter interested in joining our growing team

**Summary**:

- 2nd to 4th term Apprentice
- Must be a registered apprentice
- Ability to work various locations, day/night/weekend shifts

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
- Install underground wiring and cables
- Install, replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes
- Splice, join and connect wires
- Install surface mount and/or overhead cables
- Conduct preventative maintenance programs
- Lighting repair and maintenance
- Install large scale solar systems
- Professionalism in customer service
- Keep maintenance reports and documentation

**Required**:

- Own transportation, valid driver’s license, and driver’s abstract
- Copy of Apprenticeship Training Agreement/Contract
- Letter of Apprenticeship hours from all previous employers
- Tools, steel-toed safety boots, hard hat
- WHIMIS, Working at Heights, Worker Health and Safety Awareness
