**Articling PLANNER**

**In your role as an articling Planner, you will**:

- undertake site inspections and creating photographic records;
- attend at Council/Committee meetings and OLT hearings to assist planners
- meeting with staff and fellow team professionals to coordinate background materials to support planning justification and assist with the preparation of reports and formulation of planning opinion and analysis

**These duties will require skills in the following areas**:

- knowledge of the Planning System in Ontario and planning and related legislation
- knowledge of authorities and jurisdictions of authorities with respect to planning matters
- excellent research skills and knowledge of electronic based systems (eg Land Registry)
- excellent written and oral communication skills
- ability and willingness to work in a team environment inside and outside the firm's office
- knowledge and adherence to ethical practises and OPPI Code of Professional conduct
- general knowledge of mapping systems

**Remuneration: $21.00/hr.**

Project Management - Site Analysis - Property Redevelopment - OLT Appeals

**Salary**: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Huntsville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
