**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Prepares alcoholic drinks for patrons of restaurants, bars, cocktail lounges, and other places where drinks are served
- As a mixologist, have the knowledge of standard drink recipes as well as non-standard cocktails
- Good knowledge of beers and wines
- Takes and serves drink and food orders, using suggestive and upselling techniques
- Prepares cheques and ensures payments are the same
- Fill drink orders placed by servers for customers to be served
- Responsible for setup of bottles and barware before shift
- Maintains cleanliness of bar and lounge area (washes glasses, removes empty bottles and trash, and replaces empty beer kegs)
- Stocks the bar by bringing liquor bottles, mixed drink ingredients, and other bar supplies from the storeroom to the bar
- Keeps track of wines, beers, liquors, and other supplies, and maintain bar supplies inventory
- Verifies the identification of customers to ensure that they meet the minimum drinking age, determine when a customer has had too much alcohol, stop serving and ensure a safe ride home is arranged or even calling the police if necessary
- Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks
- Prepare appetizers, such as pickles, cheese, and cold meats
- Other duties as required

**Job Requirements**:

- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentations skills
- Possesses a passion for customer service and the ability to exceed customer expectations
- Bartending/Mixologist certificate preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Bartending
- Current Smart Serve and Food Handlers Certifications
- Point of Sale system experience is an asset
- Appearance must be neat and well groomed
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Maintains integrity, dependability, and accountability
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

Work Conditions
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift 50lb required
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
- Overtime as required
- High stress, fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
