**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Review upcoming Work Orders for material shortages and take necessary action to eliminate shortages.
- Select and prepare parts from warehouse, ensuring accuracy in quantities and part selection.
- Inspect parts for potential defects or damage before delivery to production.
- Return finished goods and any unused materials to respective warehouse locations.
- Prepare final packaging functions for production released goods. Includes; labeling, bag and tag and cardboard packaging of finished goods.
- Keep materials stored in warehouse are kept in a tidy, organized manner.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to relevant departments to prevent production delays.
- Perform periodic cycle counting to help ensure accuracy of inventory.
- Reposition inventory within warehouse to maximize efficiency of space for ease of access and orderliness.
- Operate a forklift or other warehouse machinery to move and store parts.
- Support Shipping and Receiving Departments as needed by performing shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurately processed as required.
- Follow all safety protocols in the warehouse and production areas.
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure materials arrive in time for scheduled production dates.
- Communicate internally with all applicable departments on status of supplier deliveries as it relates to production scheduling.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a Water Spider (Material Handler) is preferred.
- Effective Communicator
- Familiarity with working in a production & warehouse environment, using basics of an ERP system.
- Able to multitask
- Proficient in Lift Truck operation including having a valid Lift truck license
- Shipping and Receiving skills
- Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 40 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
