Blue Jean Property Management, a part of the Homes by Avi Group of Companies is seeking a collaborative and professional individual to join our team as a Property Manager - Leasing. Homes by Avi group of companies has been building family homes since 1978, with home building divisions in Calgary, Edmonton, and Austin, Texas.

Blue Jean Property Management is a fast growing Property Management Company, with deep industry knowledge and agility through the management of Homes by Avi multi-family developments.

**Property Manager - Leasing**

The role of the Property Manager will be responsible for the entire leasing process on behalf of various homeowners. This position will deliver on legislation requirements with a high standard of customer service.

**Who you are**:
You are an individual who is highly organized, exceptionally efficient and has a positive, flexible, "can-do" attitude. Providing exceptional customer service to both your internal and external customers is effortless.

You are proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and have experience with property management software, specifically Yardi.

You are an effective communicator in both your written and verbal correspondence, equally professional and detailed.

**What You Will Do**:

- Organizing and taking part in property tours of available and upcoming properties
- Answer questions from potential and current property occupants in a timely manner
- Manage leasing contracts and oversee the collection of lease payments on behalf of property owners
- Written and oral Corresponding to owners and tenants
- Comply with legislation, but not limited to: The Real Estate Act, The Residential Tenancies Act, The Condominium Property Act, Minimum Housing & Health Standards, PIPA, etc.
- At all times, ensure due diligence for the protection of the client's funds, property and assets against all reasonably foreseeable contingencies or losses
- Finding and presenting solutions from resources for unforeseen issues

**Your Qualifications - The Must Have's**
- Licensed Property Manager with RECA
- Minimum 2 years Residential Property Management experience
- Valid Alberta's Driver's License and Vehicle
- Excellent understanding of leasing agreements and supporting contracts
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Ability to allocate one's time effectively, work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
- Ability to resolve problems using facts and sound reasoning
- Ability to exercise confidentiality

**Additional Skills - The Nice to Have's**
- Business Management or Administration certificate, diploma OR degree

Blue Jean Property Management provides flexible work hours; Monday - Friday, start as early as 7 am and work as late as 6 pm. (Minimum 8 hours, 5 days a week required).
