T. Musselman Excavating is a local growing excavating company that is looking for a dedicated individual to join our team. If you have excavating industry experience, enjoy a positive work environment, manual labour and working outdoors this position may be right for you.

Ideally looking for a Loader Operator who is used to working on a production focused sewer and watermain crew. Must be comfortable with labouring in addition to operating.

This position is available immediately.

**Salary**:$25-$33/hr, dependent on experience

**Hours**:45-55 hours a week

**Responsibilities**
- Safely and efficiently operate a loader as a part of a sewer and watermain crew
- Occasionally provide direction to labourers and trucks on site
- Various labour duties on job sites
- Required to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Perform daily pre and post trip inspections
- Fuel and grease equipment daily
- Comply with all company health and safety guidelines
- Responsible for own transportation to job sites
- Responsible to provide own personal protective equipment
- Other duties will be assigned as required

**Desired Skills and Experience**
- 3-5 years of previous loader operator experience, preferably as a part of a sewer and watermain crew
- Previous experience in the excavating industry is a must
- Working knowledge and understanding of reading drawings, reading locates and setting grades
- Must be safety conscious
- Excellent team player
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Must be punctual and personable
- Must obtain WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety training

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 55 per week
