**PURPOSE OF POSITION**:
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES**:

- Posts online, completes initial screening and virtual interviews for hourly production and assembly workers
- Arranges dexterity tests, third-party online background checks, onboarding including New Hire Orientation
- Greet visitors and communicates visitor safety guidelines including providing PPE, Secondary temperature
- Participates in People Development Committee, completes kaizens, and closes suggestions in database
- Facilitates and promotes a work environment based on the Company Code of Conduct and Unifor CBA
- Tracks HR hiring and turnover metrics in Excel and ADP, and assists with absenteeism tracking, graphing
- Maintains monthly postings of new vehicles, mandatory shifts, morale boosting information
- Maintain HR and EHS calendars and calendar for Board Room when available
- Assists in the planning and preparation of site events and meetings. Coordinate meeting arrangements including set-up for Employee Appreciation events, completes cheque requisitions as required
- Sorts incoming mail; prepares outgoing mail including couriers as required
- Maintains the photocopy room; order/maintain inventory of office supplies
- Other duties, as assigned

**JOB REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge/Skill/Experience)**:

- Diploma in Human Resources and or Human Resources Business Administration
- Ability to work independently with regular interruptions
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Exceptional positive and friendly presentation and capabilities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Turning Point
