Position Summary
Assist with welcoming residents to KARC and providing Front Desk services

Conduct/Assist with tours and events

Data Entry and digitization of documentation

Operate an Information/Engagement booth at the City’s Recycling Depot

Act as City’s Waste Management Representative at community events

Perform traffic control duties as required (flagging)

Pick-up litter

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Competencies
MUST BE ENROLLED IN AND RETURNING TO FULL-TIME SECONDARY OR POST SECONDARY STUDIES IN FALL OF 2023 - Verification will be required

Preference will be given to those with a valid Class 'G' driver’s license

Skills, Abilities, Work Demands
Ability to work alone or in a team environment

Proven customer service skills

Proof of immunity to Tetanus and Hepatitis B may be required prior to start date

Ability to work outside in inclement weather conditions

Must be able to follow instructions and complete daily work assignments

Must provide and wear CSA approved protective footwear
