**Job Title**: Associate Advisor - Wealth Management

**Job Summary**: We are seeking an experienced, client-focused Associate Advisor to join our dynamic wealth management team. As an Associate Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive financial planning and investment management services to high-net-worth individuals and families. You will work closely with our senior advisors to build and maintain client relationships, develop customized financial strategies, and deliver exceptional client service. This role offers a unique opportunity to advance your career in wealth management while making a meaningful impact on our clients' financial well-being.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Client Relationship Management**: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their financial goals, needs, and risk tolerance. Act as a primary point of contact and deliver a high level of personalized service.
- **Financial Planning**: Collaborate with clients and senior advisors to develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive financial plans, including retirement planning, estate planning, tax optimization, and wealth transfer strategies.
- **Investment Management**: Assist in the management of client investment portfolios, including asset allocation and ongoing portfolio rebalancing with our investment management team.
- **Financial Analysis**: Utilize financial planning software and tools to create financial projections and scenarios. Support the development of investment recommendations and financial strategies.
- **Risk Assessment**: Assess clients' risk tolerance and make appropriate investment recommendations while ensuring alignment with their long-term financial goals.
- **Compliance**: Ensure all activities adhere to regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards which includes the maintenance of accurate and organized client records.
- **Client Communication**: Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates on their portfolio performance, address inquiries, and present financial planning recommendations.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the broader wealth management team, including senior advisors, analysts, and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to client service.

**Qualifications**:

- CFP or CIM is a must. CFA is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or a related field in the Edmonton marketplace.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and financial planning principles.
- Knowledge of financial planning software and tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Adherence to ethical and compliance standards in the wealth management industry.
