Reporting to the Sr Director, Financial Services, Commercial, Loyalty & ERP on the UNIFIER project, the Business Integration Liaison - Unifier will act as a liaison between the business pillars and the program team members on the AC UNIFIER project and provide guidance and support.

**Responsibilities**:

- Proactively survey business task assignments, ensuring they are executed promptly, aligned with the intended scope, and consistently meet timelines. The incumbent actively seeks opportunities to optimize processes and contribute to the overall success of the project implementation.
- Monitor business progress in areas of focus, complex system integrations and implement proactive measures when progress deviates from plan.
- Work alongside the OCM (Change Management) team to ensure consistent Stakeholder & Communications Management processes are in place.
- Provides guidance to business stakeholder engaged in the program, ensure all business pillars and cross-pillars operate smoothly and align with program standards.
- Raise issues to the attention of the Sr Director, Financial Services, Commercial, Loyalty & ERP and other team members as needed.
- Own business readiness plan before go-live ensuring smooth transition to production.
- Provide business insight during gathering and understanding the business process and requirements details.
- Ensure business stakeholders are identified and engaged as needed throughout the program.
- Coordinate all decisions impacting business stakeholders.
- Review recommendations made by the vendor and the system integrator and provide constructive feedback in relation to the business.
- Identify business risks during the program and communicate and work with the program team to mitigate those risks.
- Collaborate with the program team and business groups to work towards the successful delivery of the business solution.
- Act as a lead business resource for the program team, the vendor and the system integrator and guide all parties towards the right group or the contact person.
- Participate in escalated issue resolution, when necessary
- Assist the pillar leads, cross-pillar leads and project managers in identifying dependencies.
- Ensure pillar and cross-pillar process interdependencies are identified and addressed.
- Maximize the efficiency of all business procedures. Effectively and pro-actively manage an integrated view of the business requirements.
- Provide guidance to the team and ensure all business pillars and cross-pillars operate smoothly and align with program standards.
- Review resource status and ensure business resources availability with the changing needs of the program.
- Effectively communicate with all involved parties and ensure that team members are aware of planned activities and expectations. Help the team drive deliverables that are specific to the business and meet business objectives.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or a related field.
- 7+ years of finance related experience in a large company
- Ability to think strategically by seeing the big picture before diving deep into an issue.
- Solid knowledge of Finance operations especially for Airlines
- Experienced in bringing multiple teams together and improving coordination and collaboration.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to translate business requirements into solutions.
- Self-motivated, be able to function independently with mínimal supervision and able to multitask in a fast-paced team environment with multiple stakeholder profiles.
- Demonstrated effective communication (both verbal and written), documentation and organizational skills.
- Experience working in an Agile team environment.
- Ability to foster teamwork, and to effectively drive cross-team solutions that have complex dependencies and requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to establish good working relationships within program team and become a trusted advisor for the business stakeholders; and
- Willing to go above and beyond to achieve program goals and deadlines.
- SAP implementation experience will be an asset.
