Night Houseman

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Cleaning of public areas including vacuuming, mopping, washing and polishing wherever required, and emptying of garbage bins.
- Cleaning of washrooms and meeting rooms.
- Ensuring the work environment is tidy and well organized at all times, including hallways, carts and linen storage areas.
- Removal of waste from guestrooms/corridors to central processing area.
- Restock housekeeping storage closets and carts.
- Proper tagging and handling of lost & found items.
- Help in guest requests including bringing items to guest rooms.
- Proper communication of maintenance issues.
- Adheres to all hotel policies regarding security, safety procedures, and guest confidentiality.
- Maintains the appropriate personal appearance and hygiene when on duty, including proper uniform.
- Proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals.

Qualifications:

- Available to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays
- Friendly, customer oriented attitude
- Works well with little supervision in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to communicate effectively and positively with guests and coworkers
- Job requires constant standing, walking, lifting and bending
- Requires some heavy lifting (approx. 40-50 lbs.)

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift

**Experience**:

- Hotel: 1 year (preferred)
