Electromechanical Technician

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, maintain, and repair electromechanical machines and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues with electrical and mechanical systems and components
- Proactively perform preventive maintenance duties to restore refurbished equipment
- Fabricate and weld parts, test and repair
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Hands on tasks using hydraulic and pneumatic equipment such as: conveyors, compressors and balers
- Responsible for the repair of machines such as: conveyors and compactors

**Requirements**:

- Mechanical
- Electrical Engineering Certificate/Degree or related work experience
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical equipment and machines
- 1-2 years of experience trouble shooting and repairing hydraulic machines
- Able to read and interpret schematics, blueprints
- Experience in MIG,TIG and stick welding an asset
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with pumps, hoses, oils for lubricating machines/equipment an asset
- Experience in recycling and waste management industry an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

- millwright: 1 year (preferred)
