**About Us**:Established in 2013 Vancouver Wine School is a leading provider of wine education and training, committed to promoting wine knowledge and appreciation. We offer a variety of courses, including WSET certifications, to individuals ranging from enthusiasts to industry professionals. It is the first WSET authorized institution in Canada that specializes in teaching, teaching materials and exams in Chinese.

Vancouver Wine School's service scope covers Canada, China and other Asian regions. The scope of service includes: offering professional wine certificate courses, customized in-depth tours of world famous wineries, undertaking corporate and private wine tasting activities and dinner parties, providing wine export consulting services, restaurant wine list suggestions, restaurant and enterprise staff training courses, and personal wine cellar collection suggestions.

We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable WSET Instructor to join our team.

**Job Summary**:The WSET Instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality wine education courses to students seeking WSET certification. The instructor will utilize their expertise in wine and spirits to teach various levels of WSET courses, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of wine production, tasting, and service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Course Delivery**: Teach WSET Level 1, 2, and/or 3 courses according to WSET guidelines and standards.
- **Student Engagement**: Foster an engaging and supportive learning environment, encouraging student participation and ensuring clarity of complex concepts.
- **Course Preparation**: Deliver lesson plans, presentations, and course materials in line with WSET curriculum requirements.
- **Assessment**: Administer and providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their certification goals.
- **Continuous Learning**: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new wine regions, and updates to WSET curriculum to ensure accurate and current instruction.
- **Professional Development**: Attend relevant workshops, tastings, and events to enhance personal knowledge and professional skills.
- **Customer Service**: Assist students with inquiries related to course content, examination procedures, and general information about WSET certifications.

**Qualifications**:

- **WSET Certification**: Must hold a WSET Diploma or higher.
- **Industry Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the wine industry, with a strong understanding of global wine regions, wine production, and tasting techniques.
- **Teaching Experience**:Minimum 3 years experience in Alcobev teaching or training is highly preferred.
- **Communication Skills**: Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible manner.
- **Passion for Wine**: A genuine enthusiasm for wine education and a commitment to helping others develop their knowledge.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple courses and deadlines effectively.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
